About Us

Our mission is to provide honorably discharged service members with service-connected disabilities a therapeutic experience grounded in peer-based support, the cultivation of mental and physical healing, and promotion of physical activity through the sport of hockey.

Columbus Warrior Hockey envisions a community where veterans rediscover resilience, camaraderie, and purpose through the sport of hockey. By fostering peer support, mental well-being, and physical rehabilitation, we empower those who have served to heal and grow—strengthening both themselves and the community they call home.

Building on this mission, Columbus Warrior Hockey takes a unique approach that extends beyond traditional disabled hockey programs. We supplement our core offerings with community-based activities that incorporate other military-connected individuals, creating a broader network of support. In addition to serving veterans, we welcome participation from current service members and Gold Star family members in our Chiller Adult Hockey League teams, “stick & puck” sessions, and drop-in hockey opportunities. By blending veterans, active service members, and families, we create a continuum of camaraderie and shared experience that strengthens bonds and fosters lasting positive impact within our community.

Every goal we both accomplish and score begins with your support. Donations and sponsorships fuel our programs by keeping veterans on the ice and connected to the community. Together, we can ensure that those who served our country continue to heal, grow, and give back.
