Why Join?
Columbus Warrior Hockey is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides honorably discharged U.S. Military veterans with service connected disabilities a therapeutic experience grounded in peer-based support, the cultivation of mental and physical healing, and physical activity through the sport of hockey.
Columbus Warrior Hockey’s approach to accomplishing our mission is unique in that we supplement our disabled hockey program with community based activities that incorporate other military-connected individuals.
Columbus Warrior Hockey extends participation eligibility to individuals such as current service members and gold star family members for participation in our Chiller Adult Hockey League teams, Stick & Puck sessions, and Drop-In Hockey sessions. This blending of veterans, current service members, and family members creates a continuum of support that serves to create a lasting positive impact to our local veterans.

Frequently Asked Questions
If I don't have a disability rating from the VA, can I still participate?
You can still participate in our C or D league teams even if you don't have a disability rating. If you have a Purple Heart, you may sign up for the Warrior Hockey team regardless of rating.
What if I can't commit to a full season on a team?
Check out our Drop-In or Stick and Puck sessions if you still want to hit the ice with fellow vets on a more casual basis! You can also sign up to be on our sub roster for our CAHL teams.
I've never played before, can I still join?
Absolutely! If you just want to try things out, keep an eye out for stick & puck, drop-in, or skills development sessions. If you're looking to start playing regularly, sign up for our D League team!
Can I sign up for more than one team?
You can participate in both Disabled Hockey and Adult Recreational Hockey, but not two CAHL teams at the same time.
I registered! What's next?
